An Invitation from Pastor Johnny and his wife, Leona:

Leona and I enjoy hanging out in coffee shops and connecting with friends over a hot cup of Joe.  We even wrote a musical several years ago that started with the line, "It all started with a bad cup of coffee..."

With that in mind, we've decided to set some coffee dates, because sometimes it's easier to get to know someone in environments like coffee shops than it is in formal settings.   In fact, developing friendships and connecting with other people is part of one of our Stoneview Essentials: Growing Closer to God and to Each Other. 

In the early stages of starting a church, being a newcomer to a gathering can feel a bit awkward.  "Connecting Over Coffee" is a way to help break down those barriers.

Leona and I have scheduled specific times over the next several months that we will be at coffee shops around the Alliance area. We'd love to meet you at one of these coffee shops to answer your questions about Stoneview, talk about what's on your mind or just say, "Hello."

No need for awkward moments.  It's come and go. Stay 5 minutes or 45 minutes.  It's up to you. We'll be there for about 2 hours, regardless.
